New Look Names Lynda Petherick as CEO
British fashion retailer New Look has promoted Lynda Petherick to chief executive as the company builds on a sharp turnaround in profitability.
New Look has appointed Lynda Petherick as its new chief executive, replacing Helen Connolly, who will remain through September 2026 to manage the handover. Petherick joined New Look in 2024 as CIO and was promoted to COO in 2025, leading the retailer's digital transformation and operational improvements.
The company reported FY 2026 EBITDA of £36.6 million, more than double the prior year, with online sales now representing about 40% of group revenue. Petherick's mandate is expected to focus on accelerating digital growth, international expansion, and sustainability initiatives.
