NIGO and J-hope Turn a Nike Air Force 1 Into a Sunrise, and Skip the Swoosh
The BAPE founder and the BTS member built the Air Force 1 '01 "Burnt Sunrise" around a heel graphic where the branding usually goes, previewing it themselves at Human Made's Tokyo flagship.

Nike let two of streetwear's most reliable hitmakers redesign one of its oldest silhouettes again, and NIGO and J-hope answered by hiding the logo. The Air Force 1 '01 "Burnt Sunrise," unveiled Saturday at Human Made's Tokyo flagship, swaps a rust and gold colorway in for the usual white leather and drops a custom graphic onto the heel where a Swoosh would normally sit.
The two have collaborated before, most recently on the HUMAN HOPE line with Human Made in 2025, and the Nike drop reads like the natural next step in a friendship that started with J-hope collecting NIGO's BAPE pieces years before the two ever met.
No price or release date yet, just a holiday 2026 window, which means Nike gets a full quarter of hype building off two names who already sell out collections without trying, proof that the biggest flex in sneaker marketing right now is simply removing your own logo.
