PrizePicks Signs Anthony Edwards, Gets a Built-In Nike Clapback
The Timberwolves star is PrizePicks' newest brand ambassador, and his first ad is already picking a fight with a Kevin Durant and Drake spot.

PrizePicks named Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards its newest brand ambassador this week, ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season. The Atlanta native will anchor PrizePicks' ads and social content, and the fantasy-sports app is also the presenting sponsor of Edwards' satirical "Believe That Awards," where users can win autographed shoes.
The opening salvo is pointed: a new spot shows Edwards in a purple colorway of his AE3 signature shoe, directly responding to a recent Nike ad featuring Kevin Durant and Drake. "Teaming up with PrizePicks feels like an Atlanta homecoming," Edwards said, while PrizePicks SVP of partnerships Joey Molko called him "one of the biggest stars in all of sports." PrizePicks is also working with Edwards' production company, Three Fifths Media, and plans future campaigns pairing him with comedian Druski.
It is a smart signing on timing alone: Edwards is entering the season as one of the league's most online personalities, and PrizePicks just bought itself a front-row seat to whatever beef he starts next.
