Speediance Stops Selling a Gym and Starts Selling an AI Coach

Speediance built its name on one machine, a smart cable gym meant to replace a rack of dumbbells in a studio apartment. Now it is telling a bigger story: not a gym company, an AI fitness company that happens to sell hardware.

The lineup grows to four devices, the Gym Monster Ultra, Gym Monster 3, Gym Nano, and the wearable Speediance Strap, all tied together by three new AI capabilities the brand calls Votus, Oryn, and Somni. They run through what Speediance calls AEVIS, an "AI-powered experience layer designed to carry relevant context across training, recovery, and daily life." Translate the jargon and the pitch is simple: your workout data should not stop mattering the moment you rack the weights.

It is a crowded lane. Peloton is leaning into running and celebrity faces to stay relevant, and Apple is reportedly building a screenless tracker aimed at Whoop's turf. Speediance is making its own bet: that the winner of the home-fitness reset is not whoever has the nicest machine, but whoever owns the data layer sitting on top of it.
