adidas Originals and Wales Bonner released their Fall/Winter 2026 collection globally on October 29, the latest round in a partnership that has outlasted most designer collaborations by simply refusing to repeat itself. This season, Grace Wales Bonner revisits her own archive with the collaboration, layering jewel tones and refined tailoring over adidas' athletic bones, which is the kind of sentence that sounds like trend-report filler until you see the actual Gazelle in croc-effect green.

The footwear carries the collection. The WB Karintha arrives in dark brown croc-stamped leather with brushed gold hardware, the WB Gazelle Snake in vivid green crocodile effect, the WB ADIZERO Adios rebuilt entirely in suede with custom Three Stripes detailing pulled from adidas' running archive, and the WB BW Pony wrapped in pony hair with lizard-print overlays. Apparel follows the same logic: a bark-brown leather blouson finished with handcrafted crochet stripes, pinstriped track sets, collared football jerseys, and double-knit tracksuits, plus neoprene bags embossed with crocodile panels.

The campaign, shot by Harley Weir, leans into 1980s London youth culture and the subcultural collisions that came with it, which tracks with how long this partnership has run. It has had enough seasons to build its own references instead of borrowing someone else's. The pieces work because years into this collaboration, Wales Bonner already knows exactly how far she can push adidas' archive before it stops being adidas. The collection is available now on adidas' site and at select retailers.
