Palace and Burberry Skip the Internet for Their Soho Collab
No webstore, no app, no restock alert. Just one door in London and a check pattern most people will never get within a mile of.

Most collaborations these days live or die on a drop timer and a queue page. Palace and Burberry are doing the opposite: the collection arrives Wednesday, November 5, and the only way to buy it is to physically show up at Palace's new flagship at 8 Poland Street in London's Soho. There is no wider online release, and Palace is describing the range itself as "highly limited," which is brand-speak for "bring a friend to hold your place in line."\n\nThe collection pairs Burberry's check, one of the most recognized patterns in fashion, with Palace's graphic-heavy, skate-rooted house style across outerwear, accessories, and headwear. Neither brand has disclosed pricing, which tracks: when a drop is this restricted, the retail tag is almost beside the point next to the fact of having been there.\n\nThe move is really a flagship launch wearing a collaboration as its opening-week costume. Palace gets a new physical anchor in the city that made it, Burberry gets its check placed in front of a younger, harder-to-reach audience without touching its own stores, and both get to skip the thing every digital-first drop struggles with: proving scarcity is real. A line around the block does that better than any countdown clock ever could.
